And although there is still a lot of controversy about the benefits of vegetarianism, the fact that meat is worth eating in limited quantities has long been proven. Therefore, it is still worth all of us to give up animal products sometimes, even for short periods of time: it is good for the figure, and for the digestive organs, and in general for the whole organism.
When switching to a plant-based diet, especially if it happens abruptly, the body experiences stress. Mushrooms are an excellent substitute for meat. They make any food more nutritious, contain a lot of protein and generally useful substances, while being a low-calorie product. It is for this that athletes and those who are losing weight love mushrooms. And, of course, you shouldn't forget about nuts: they are an excellent source of protein, vitamins, healthy fats and fiber.
