Everyone who expected Miuccia Prada at the January men's show of down and feathers left disappointed. However, after a month, the feathers returned to their places. The beloved of the protagonist of the January show appeared on the podium, and Captain Fantastic was chosen. The new Prada collection, which she transformed into her own version of Fellini's classic City of Women, is about the role of women in shaping modern society, her participation in political life and her social achievements. Opposing the natural feminine principle to the social machine, the designer confronts the private and the state, building a personal intimate space in the center of the site - a bedroom with a bed, and around it starts up an abstract network of podium corridors.

Combining fashion and art again and again, Miuccia Prada this time invited the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, the classic Johann Sebastian Bach and the American illustrator Robert McGinnis as allies. The first one was appointed responsible for the set design, the second one was “put” in charge of the organ, and the third one took the key female image. She found it on Robert McGinnis' 70s sex bomb posters from the era. And this does not prevent her from remembering that those very posters are real icons of patriarchal sexism. Therefore, ironically, the designer printed them on skirts, tops and dresses. A large share in the collective image of her 70s is behind urban hippies: all this corduroy, bell bottom, patchwork and handmade, knitted swimsuits, shell necklaces and sweaters with expressionist prints.The motorcycle theme sounds no less nostalgic, with its square jackets made of colored leather in rivets and beads, knitted vests under the bottom, thickly lined black eyes, flat boots and eight-piece caps assembled from different-textured patches of leather.
