Netflix's The Crown has revived interest in the Windsor family. The streaming service project has faced a lot of negativity. Many claimed that such fictional fiction harms the royal family, and in the series itself, Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are shown from an extremely negative side.

The Sunday Times published a study according to which more than a third of people surveyed said that their opinion of Prince Charles had improved, and 42% that the series had not influenced their opinions at all. Only 23% of respondents admitted that they began to think a little worse about the Windsor.
