This cruciferous vegetable is a storehouse of healthy carbohydrates, fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, potassium, calcium, and iron. Here's why we should all eat cauliflower and how to cook it properly.
What is the benefit?
Stops inflammation. The antioxidants in cauliflower strengthen cell walls to help protect them from damage and prevent oxidative stress. This prevents weakening of the immune system and reduces the risk of developing chronic diseases.

How to cook cauliflower?
Cauliflower can be mashed. Simply steam the buds with herbs, black pepper and a tablespoon of olive oil. With a minimum of effort, you will have a tasty, nutritious meal with far fewer calories than, for example, a potato counterpart.
If mashed potatoes are not to your taste, fry whole buds in a little olive oil, sprinkle with fresh or dried herbs. Such a dish can be a great dinner, because cauliflower has a low glycemic index, so it will not provoke spikes in blood sugar.
Cauliflower makes a pizza base! To do this, mix the inflorescence puree with an egg and a pinch of salt, form a base and bake it for 6-8 minutes. After that, lay out any filling and bake for another 20 minutes. This is a great healthy alternative to your favorite unhealthy treat.
