British House Burberry cherishes traditions, but lives for today. The brand was one of the first to master the new see now - buy now mode and, according to the new schedule, presented today not spring-summer, but autumn-winter men's and women's collections, united on the podium under the name September show, within the framework of London week. The show took place in a new space - the 250-year-old Old Sessions House courthouse, located in the historic Carkenwell district of London, and today opened its doors to the public for the first time after renovation.

The organizers used two floors of the building at once, seating the guests of the show along an impromptu podium on garden benches. If Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne became the main characters of the first row, then on the catwalk there are English classics and the best examples of streetwear. The designer has combined tartan, Prince of Wales, Burberry and other plaid prints with various variations of knitted patterns - from colorful fair isle to geometric aran. Plus plastic, faux fur, tulle and lace in a bright palette of fruit sorbets and natural sheepskin and classic gabardine, which are mandatory in the brand's autumn-winter collections.

From these, the author has compiled multi-layered sets that refer to street culture and sports fashion: here warm knitted sweaters and cardigans have taken their place between colored raincoats and lace dresses, which are also combined with hussar uniforms, reconstructed into skirts, oversized coats with the effect of "sealed" seams and bright socks. Models were outfitted with oversized checkered bags, briefcases made of classic calfskin and riveted clogs on the floor with contrasting laces, as well as long knitted scarves, baseball caps with a vintage Burberry check and large shiny single earrings, which have already become the main hit of the season at New York catwalks.
