From Paris With Love: Dior Is Preparing A Large-scale Exhibition On The History Of The House

The first large-scale retrospective Dior exhibition in the United States is preparing to open in Denver. It will cover more than 70 years of the House's history, from the first collections by Christian Dior to the contemporary works of Maria Grazia Chiuri, who leads the brand today.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to follow how the style of the House has changed and developed over time and under the leadership of various creative directors, how new trends have adapted to the brand's aesthetics and how Dior itself has become a trendsetter. A separate section will be devoted to the United States, namely how American culture contributed to the success of the French House.

The exposition will show more than 150 couture dresses and accessories, dozens of original sketches, numerous video shows and photographs collected from the archives of the House.

The exhibition "Dior: From Paris to the World" opens at the Denver Art Museum on November 18, 2018 and runs until March 3, 2019.
