Tuesday 29 September
We landed in Paris on time. Before the first show I manage to check in at Hotel Costes. From there, I immediately go to Anthony Vaccarello: in his collection, the prints with the image of tattoos and the abundance of denim are the most memorable to me.
Wednesday 30 September
Early start of the day, so I prudently ordered breakfast in my room. Due to lack of time, the car turned into an office.
The first show so far is Maison Martin Margiela, which is still a big buzz thanks to creative director John Galliano.
Surprisingly, I still have time for lunch with the president of the NEXT modeling agency in Europe, Saif Mahdi, who also runs between shows with his charges. Beloved Rochas are next. Lace shoes are definitely on my shopping list for next season!
Thursday October 1st
And again, early wake-up call. At Chloé, my attention was drawn to both the feminine rainbow-colored dresses and the understated navy blue outfits with contrast stitching.
Sun protection is the main point of next summer, so you definitely can't do without a hat. For Stylebop.com I bought the best from Maison Michel.
Lunch on the run with French pr-manager Stylebop.com ahead of the highly anticipated Balmain show. Olivier Rousteing stayed true to himself and showed another stunning collection with even more striking decor and bold details.
Friday October 2
I woke up thinking about the last unforgettable show Rick Owens. Despite the fact that many thought it was insane, the show gave the feeling that women have become even more relaxed.
Anya Hindmarch knows a lot about fun: the new funny collection had to be looked at in 3D glasses.
The beauty of Isabel Marant pieces is that they are incredibly easy to combine with each other. The new collection is no exception.
Saturday, October 3
A little time for sightseeing, especially in such wonderful weather, established in the morning!
Has bought almost the entire collection of Malone Souliers. The new brand will appear on Stylebop.com in November.
The seductive tailoring that David Koma is famous for has cemented his position as Creative Director of Mugler.
Elie Saab stays true to himself: feminine silhouettes, flowing fabrics and lace-lace-lace.
Sunday 4th October
What better way to start the day than a dynamic Kenzo presentation ?!
A little wisdom from Shourouk.
Galaxy, the iconic dress of Roland Mouret, celebrates its tenth anniversary. A win-win choice for every occasion.
One of the most iconic shows of the season for me was Alexander McQueen. Sarah Burton presented a very personal and emotional collection.
Monday October 5th
Stella McCartney never cheats on an impeccable man's cut, but every time she adds fresh notes to it. Definitely a must-have.
The famous phrase of Linda Evangelista is now embroidered on items in the new collection of Anna K.
One of the brightest it-girls Gigi Hadid closed the show Giambattista Valli.
Julie de Libran was inspired by the Parisian nightlife: sequins, faux fur and the 70s. Everything we love so much!
Tuesday October 6th
Signature volume, flared sleeves and a bouncy cut - this is how I remember the first Ellery show during Paris Fashion Week.
Incredible bespoke mannequins in the Kenzo showroom!
Finishing the fashion marathon at the amazing Valentino show!
