Britney Spears Lost Court Against Her Father In Custody Case

The Los Angeles Supreme Court rejected her request to remove her father, Jamie, from custody and control of her finances. He has overseen all aspects of Spears' private and professional life for 12 years - and will continue to do so. True, the court appointed the Bessemer Trust financial company as the singer's co-guardian, as she requested. The rest was denied. Britney herself did not participate in the remote court hearing - her interests were represented by her lawyer Samuel Ingham. He insisted that the girl was afraid of her father and refused to perform while he was in control of her career. He also argued that Britney and Jamie have not talked for a long time, and the business relationship between them can hardly be called stable. Jamie Spears' lawyer Vivian Leigh Thorin countered this,that they had become tense because of their involvement in Ingham's case.
