Place Vendôme in the center of Paris, a real mecca for all connoisseurs of high jewelry, this fall offers another reason to visit the treasury boutiques located around its perimeter: the House of Chaumet has organized in its space the "Bucolic Promenade". It can be accessed by both true adherents of jewelry and a wide audience: the exhibition, which includes selected jewelry from private collections, created over more than two centuries of the House's history, is primarily of historical significance. The top exhibit is a diadem that belonged to Empress Josephine.

In addition to jewelry, the House of Chaumet decided to show its other relics: sketches, archival photographs, and even a set of gouache paints, with the use of which the manufacture of each product begins. The naturalistic motifs that became the leitmotif of the entire exhibition seem familiar and understandable, but this is only at first glance: jewelers relied not only on impeccable performance, but also on the symbolic meaning of each element, be it a petal or a tiny butterfly. The deep roots of flora and fauna can be found in luxury items with a history, as well as in the brand new Garden collection of 13 pieces: rings, brooches, transforming necklaces, earrings and bracelets dedicated to garden bees. Green, yellow and orange opals, hessonites, tourmalines, topazes, sapphires, pearls and diamonds merge into a real ode to the honey gatherers. Chaumet's novelties and rarities can be seen on Place Vendôme until January 30th.
