Video: 1930s Glitz: Gala Evening In Geneva
The rhythms of jazz and swing last night plunged guests of IWC Schaffhausen into the 1930s, the golden era of aviation pioneers: this is how the Swiss manufacturer celebrated the release of the updated Pilot's-Watches collection. The gala evening brought together all the "star" friends of the brand, who flew to Geneva for this event and the International Salon of Fine Watchmaking (SIHH), where the novelties of IWC Schaffhausen were presented. Hilary Swank, Christoph Waltz, Scott Eastwood and other representatives of the world of cinema, Formula 1 racers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, as well as other guests, a bright cultural program awaited them: a troupe of British dancers presented them with a grandiose production in the style of the 30s of the last century and world stage legends such as Patti Austin, Ronan Keating, Curtis Stigers, Eric Harland and Til Brönner - their enchanting music.“It was like I found myself on the set of a film,” Rosamund Pike, IWC Schaffhausen's ambassador, admitted her admiration, and most of the guests, judging by the photos on Instagram, agreed with the actress's opinion.
Let us remind you that this year IWC Schaffhausen is also celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Moscow boutique: everyone who is interested in watch themes must visit the exhibition of their iconic models. You can see the main treasures of the Swiss manufactory on Petrovka until February 10.
