Video: Legend's Wardrobe: Audrey Hepburn's Favorite Dresses
At the end of this month, an auction will be held in London for the first time, where personal belongings of Audrey Hepburn will be put up for sale. There are about 500 lots in total, including clothing, accessories, photographs of the Hollywood film star and even film scripts with her personal notes. Of course, the main exhibits will be Hepburn's wardrobe items, a recognized style icon. The auction will feature iconic items such as a Burberry trench coat (starting at £ 6,000), a Valentino couture coat, a Ferragamo collection of leather ballerinas and dresses from her favorite designer and close friend Hubert de Givenchy. For example, the black satin dress with feather trim, in which she appeared on the set of the movie "Charade".
The jewels will also go under the hammer: a personalized Tiffany & Co. bracelet, donated by Steven Spielberg after filming Always (her most recent film), and the tiara that Hepburn wore at the 1959 London premiere of A Nun's Story.
