On-screen friends Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall quarreled so much that now they publicly exchange barbs, and the third part of the full-length "Sex and the City" remained in the dreams of fans. But suddenly the heroines of the cult series have teamed up to record a podcast. Cattrall, Parker, as well as Cynthia Nixon, Christine Davis and other colleagues in Sex and the City responded to the invitation of the author of The Bradshaw Boys project and wrote down warm words of gratitude to the medical professionals in New York.
Initially, the creators of the podcast decided to please Meg's fan who works with coronavirus patients in the intensive care unit of the New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Hospital. Meg admitted that she listens to the episodes every morning on the way to work and in the evening after a busy day. The actors of "Sex and the City" decided to express their gratitude not only to Meg, but also to her colleagues who are heroically holding back the pandemic.
Parker noted that we live in an “unimaginably scary time” in which doctors show “incredible courage”: “In such cases, the most difficult thing is to choose the right words to express gratitude, appreciation, respect, adoration, awe. It's hard for me to describe your courage. After all, your job is to resist a serious illness and be in your place, despite the fact that you have few resources at your disposal. I'm so touched."
Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda Hobbs, called Meg and her colleagues “our heroes” and remembered what her family owes to this hospital: “You have amazing specialists, you saved my mother when she suffered a heart attack in 2001. Thanks for everything you do. Meg, I know your spouse works for the ambulance. And today you are just our main characters. Please take care of yourself. And thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Christine Davis also joined the friends' words: “We know how difficult it is to be on the front line: your work is of great importance to all of us. Thanks for reviewing Sex and the City. We are happy that at least this way we can please you. Don't slow down. We don't stop thinking about you."
Samantha Jones, represented by Kim Cattrall, also did not stand aside: “Without you, we would not have coped. So glad to hear that our heroes make you smile as you walk through the park to work to fight the virus. We are with you and love you. You are our main support."
