When we talk about Sarah Jessica Parker, we first of all, of course, remember the TV series "Sex and the City". However, the actress did not always dream about this role - 53-year-old Parker spoke frankly about it in an interview with James Andrew Miller.
When Sarah Jessica was asked to play Carrie Bradshaw, she was already a famous actress in Hollywood and Broadway, so the television project seemed to her a step back in her career. In addition, the series are famous for their busy schedule and tough deadlines, so while working on it, Parker felt like a “hostage” and “began to choke” from the frantic rhythm of filming: “In stress, I thought:“I don't have time to live. Over the course of a year, I feel comfortable acting in several plays and acting in a film, and maybe devote a week to a television show."
When Sex and the City was successful, the actress began to panic even more: “Suddenly I felt like I was being held hostage or something, my shooting schedule became suffocating for me.” Fortunately, gradually Sarah Jessica got into the rhythm and stopped feeling the pressure, thanks to which we got six seasons and two full-length films about the adventures and hobbies of Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte.
