This year's most prestigious fashion ceremony CFDA Fashion Awards will take place on June 3, and today the names of the nominees for the awards have been announced. The lucky ones from this list will receive their fashionable "Oscar" (as the award is informally called) in the Brooklyn Museum:

The international award from Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti this year will be given to the creative director of the Alexander McQueen fashion brand Sarah Burton. Eileen Fischer will be honored in the Positive Change category, with Lynn Yeager going to the Media Prize and Karin Roitfeld with the Brand Founder's Prize.
