This year, Adriana Lima will hit the Victoria's Secret catwalk for 18 times. In order to always look good during so many seasons and not be inferior to the newly arrived "angels", the model trains six times a week. The program includes cardio and boxing alternately. A couple of months before the coveted show, Lima increases the intensity of the classes, paying special attention to the abs and buttocks.
The model's favorite exercise is jumping rope (the model calls it the secret of her slimness). They make it possible to simultaneously work out the muscles of the whole body. “In fact, this is one of the most difficult exercises, and it took me a long time to learn the correct technique. It takes persistence and long-term practice,”explains Lima.
During trips, when there is no time for full-fledged classes with a trainer (and, in fact, the trainer himself is far away), Adriana replaces fitness in the gym with daily jogging - uniforms and sneakers are always in the model's suitcase. Music helps to keep the discipline: “For the last three years, Eminem's Till I Collapse has been my favorite workout track. The words of this song inspire us to work hard.”
Of course, nutrition plays an important role in keeping fit. The model does not allow herself to eat sweet and starchy foods, she tries to eat only organic food and in moderation. Her rule is to eat more often and in small portions. In addition, Lima carefully monitors her health: "In the morning I definitely drink vitamin C. It helps me never to catch a cold."
