Video: Exhibition At Ralph Lauren
The Winter's Tale, authored by photographer Jimmy Nelson, settled in Tretyakovsky Proyezd for a few days: having seen the exhibition of clutches in the Alexander McQueen boutique, continue your meeting with art at Ralph Lauren. The advertising campaign for the House, filmed at the Arctic resort of Kakslauttanen (located in Finnish Lapland, 150 miles north of the Arctic Circle), was entrusted to Nelson as a photographer with an excellent understanding of wildlife. He recently published a book on remote regions and indigenous peoples, Before They Pass Away, and has traveled to almost every corner of the globe trying to capture the most interesting anthropological scenes. This season, Ralph Lauren has its own "corner": the temperature in it is kept below 30 ° C, the thickness of the snow cover reaches a meter, and the scenery for the shooting is ice igloos and log huts, found by Nelson already on the spot. The autumn-winter looks, described by Ralph Lauren as “a world of feelings and textures, a magical winter country full of warmth, comfort and energy”, were presented in the advertising campaign by San Vloe, the only model who took part in the project along with Siberian huskies and reindeer.
Until November 4, in the Ralph Lauren boutique in Tretyakovsky Proyezd, you can see not only shots from this amazing advertising campaign, but also the famous works of Jimmy Nelson. The guests of the preview, organized by the Fashion House together with Garage, were the first to see them.
