Despite the fact that 38-year-old Meghan Markle resigned from her royal duties, she did not stop helping those in need. The Duchess is now in Canada, where she recently visited the Downtown Eastside Women's Center in Vancouver. The organization provides assistance in the form of safe shelter, food and basic necessities to over 500 women and children every day.
Megan did not warn anyone of her intentions - which, in general, in her spirit - so the visit was a pleasant surprise. According to the workers of the shelter, they learned about the arrival of the duchess at a time when she was already talking with the managers of the organization. “She asked how she needed help. It was a pleasant meeting,”said one of the employees, adding that Megan's visit raised the spirits of not only the guests, but also the staff.

For this outing, the Duchess opted for a relaxed look with a cream sweater and skinny jeans. Over a cup of tea, together with the shelter workers, Megan learned about other similar organizations and discussed issues related to the problems of women in society.
