Halle Berry Talks About How Pierce Brosnan Saved Her Life On Set

Halle Berry played the James Bond girlfriend in the 2002 film Die Another Day. Agent 007 was played by Pierce Brosnan - and for the actress it was of particular importance.

Holly took part in the filming of the Jimmy Fallon Show, getting in touch online from her own home. She remembered the romantic scene with the British secret agent MI6.

The heroine of the actress remained in her underwear and tried to seduce James Bond with a date, but in the end she just choked on it, laughing at the sudden joke of the filming partner.

The situation could have ended tragically, but Pierce knew Heimlich's trick - and that saved Holly's life. Henry Heimlich came up with a special method to help get rid of a foreign object stuck in the throat. “James Bond knew how Heimlich acted! Then Pierce was there for me and he always remains one of my favorite people in the world,”says Holly.

But that's not the only stressful moment from filming. During the recording of one of the scenes in Cadiz, Spain, a fragment of a smoke grenade hit the actress in the left eye. She was urgently hospitalized and the doctors took out the splinter, and the fearless Holly soon returned to the set.
