In early May, SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO became a father for the sixth time. Canadian singer Grimes gave birth to Elona Musk's son. The lovers were surprised by the choice of the name of the heir: there was even a place for an encrypted message in the Elvish language.

The kid was named X Æ A-12, which sounds more like a secret code. Grimes explained such an unexpected choice, and Elon taught how to pronounce the name of a newborn correctly. However, in the end, the newly-made parents still had to change the name of their son: they did not change their minds themselves, but they had to follow the California laws. It is permissible to use any letters of the English alphabet and even hyphens in names, but Arabic numerals are prohibited.

Elon and Grimes have found a graceful way out. The son's name is now written like this: X Æ A-Xii, where Xii is the number 12, written in Roman numerals. The singer said that X symbolizes an unknown variable, Æ is the elvish spelling of the abbreviation AI, meaning "love" or "artificial intelligence". A-12 is an American reconnaissance aircraft, and besides, with the letter "A" begins Grimes' favorite song "Archangel", number 12 - according to the Chinese calendar, corresponds to the year of the rat, under the sign of which the year 2020 passes.
